Analysis of the Attitude and the Motivation of Future Graduates Towards Self-employment Based on the Push - Pull Theory

The topic of the master thesis is an analysis of the attitude of future graduates towards self-employment. The aim of the thesis is to find out, within the push-pull theory, which factors currently influence graduates in decision-making whether to be employed or to start their own business and whether their attitude has changed due to the situation in society associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The research will be conducted by a questionnaire survey. The result of the thesis will be a comparison of motives for decision-making between employment and entrepreneurship before and during the pandemic crisis. Based on the research results, solutions for increasing motivation of future graduates to become entrepreneurs and suggestions for improving strategy of business support organizations to support entrepreneurship among graduates according to their needs will be proposed

Contemporary education in international perspective Abstract The thesis addresses the topic of contemporary education in European countries with a focus on tertiary education. The first part is devoted to a general overview of education in Europe, the International Classification of Education ISCED, organizations dealing with education and their activities in the form of programs, collection of internationally comparable data or publications. It includes a description of education policies in European countries and a description of education systems in selected countries. The second part analyses data for 2020 provided by the OECD on tertiary graduates, which are considered in terms of international classifications, age or gender. A cluster analysis of bachelor and master graduates, divided by gender, is carried out in order to identify the presence of regions with similar characteristics and to further analyse them to show different trends depending on the gender of the graduates, level or fields of study. Employment of graduates of the field Management and Business Economics in the labor market

This diploma thesis focuses on the employment of graduates of the field of REP in the labor market. First, the basic concepts related to the researched topic are outlined. Then, on the basis of a questionnaire survey among graduates and on the basis of an interview with the guarantor this field, the current situation with which graduates enter the labor market is evaluated. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions were made for improvement so that graduates have a chance to gain a better foothold in the labor market.
Effect of massification of university education on the labor market and job opportunities for graduates

This dissertation examines the influence of massification of tertiary education in labor market. There are explored effects of access to higher education of graduates and their chances of finding an adequate employment. It is partially inspired by the piece of work from Jan Keller and Lubor Tvrdý - Vzdělanostní společnost? Chrám, výtah a pojišťovna. The thesis also describes a situation on the labour market with regard to the employment of graduates and their applicability in practice. Statistical research is used and complemented by a survey among employers. The main objective of the thesis, ie. Employment of graduates in the labor market, was achieved thanks to these results. This piece of work could be used as a presentation of the results of the quality investigation and the need of higher education.
Young people on the labour market in relation to job centres activtiy in Central Bohemia

The main aims of the thesis is to explore the situation and awareness of youth on labour market, to evaluate existing political instruments and to suggest a recommendation for the most effective intrument to makte the situation better. I follow these aims by executing a secondary data analysis, an expert interviews with workers of IPS in Central Bohemia, Regional labour office in Příbram and VÚPSV, furthermore I follow these aims by my own survey within 5 chosen high schools in Central Bohemia. The thesis focuses on exploration of the issue from perspective of future graduates on labour market, as well as the perspective of IPS workers (as the main stakeholder), who actively works with unemployed youth or future graduates on daily basis. According to the research I concluded, that the most effective instrument for the chosen group is consultation, which is provided mainly by the IPS workers. There are various types of consultation in the region and therefore various levels of future graduates awareness. The consultation should by unified in every Central Bohemia region. The thesis deals with recruitment and development of students and graduates in relation to the talent management concept. It focuses on interpretation of talent concept, development of talent management, its current approach and the importance of talent management to the organization. Attention is paid to methods of recruitment and development of students and graduates, emphasizing the specifics of this group of employees. A qualitative survey is part of this thesis. Two methods of measurement were applied in this research - studying documents (career portals of employers) and conducting interviews with representatives of HR departments of large businesses operating in Prague, focusing on whether and how employers work with students and graduates within their talent management systems, how they understand the concept of talent and which methods of recruitment and development of students and graduates they apply most frequently. Thesis looks at parallel pensum of high school and musical education from the perspective of the teachers and students of Gymnasium and Musical School of Capital City Prague. Apart from the history and the foundation of musical classes, the paper mainly focuses on the research part which brings the teachers' views on for example the cooperation with their colleagues, their opinions on the appropriate school equipment, or what they themselves gained from teaching at the school. The thesis also looks at the school students and graduates. Using a survey, it attempts to find their opinions on the time demands of their studies, what they learnt at the school and how they retrospectively see their experience with it. Furthermore, the paper provides interviews with graduates, teachers and headmasters.
